Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions made with Bluebolt PC LTD. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and retain a copy for your records. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Each order for goods shall be considered an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. You must be at least 18 years old to order goods through Bluebolt PC LTD or provide written consent from a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any goods at our discretion. We may also retain goods if there is suspicion of fraudulent activity and will not release the goods until confirmation has been received from the bank or card provider that there is no issue.

Terms and conditions of sale.

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed with Bluebolt PC LTD.

Placing of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To order goods through Bluebolt PC LTD you must be at least 18 years of age or we must obtain written consent from a parent or guardian.

We have the right to refuse at our discretion to supply any goods ordered by you.

Bluebolt PC LTD also has the right to hold goods if they believe that there is the possibility of fraud and goods will not be released until confirmation via the bank / card provider that there is no issue.

 

Warranties

Bluebolt PC Branded Desktop PC  warranty.

We offer a 3-year warranty on all Desktop PCs which are Bluebolt PC branded

1 Years parts and labour, this includes collection and return.

Years 2 and 3 labour only

If parts have any additional warranty remaining after 12 months and an error occurs this is the responsibility of the purchaser to liaise and sort directly with the manufacturer. This is subject to the warranty length of the manufacturer.

All warranties will commence from the purchase date by “Bluebolt PC LTD”

 

All warranties will begin on the purchase date by Bluebolt PC LTD. Bluebolt PC LTD will fulfill all parts needed within the warranty period. However, please note that the purchaser will be responsible for collection and return, and any associated costs should the warranty be deemed void due to damage caused by the purchaser, or parts removed, replaced, or swapped.

The warranty covers only hardware, i.e., any parts within the computer. It does not cover any software issues or include free technical support, which will be charged at the standard rate.

Any parts needed within the warranty period with be fulfilled by Bluebolt PC only. 

Please note that collection and return and any associated costs will become the responsibly of the purchaser should it be deemed that it falls outside of the warranty due to being damaged by the purchaser and or parts removed, replaced or swapped.

 

The Warranty is on Hardware only. E.g any parts within the computer. The warranty does not cover any software issues and does not include free technical support. Any technical support will be charged at the standard rate.

 

Desktop PC Warranty

All other manufactures please see product our description or consult the equipment manufacturer. It's essential to understand that the warranty for these products is provided directly by the respective manufacturers

Purchaser's Obligations:

Bluebolt PC LTD does not offer any additional or independent warranties on these items.

Parts Component and accessories Warranty.

This warranty pertains to parts, components, and accessories sold by Bluebolt PC LTD. It's essential to understand that the warranty for these products is provided directly by the respective manufacturers. Bluebolt PC LTD does not offer any additional or independent warranties on these items.

All new components and accessories come with a minimum of 12 month manufactures warranty this warranty starts from the purchase date by “Bluebolt PC LTD”

For details regarding warranty duration, terms, and conditions, customers are advised to refer to the product description provided by Bluebolt PC LTD or directly consult the equipment manufacturer.

Warranty Commencement

Regardless of the manufacturer's policy, all warranty periods for products sold by Bluebolt PC LTD will commence from the date of purchase as recorded by Bluebolt PC LTD.

 

Limitations

 

Bluebolt PC LTD holds no responsibility for fulfilling or managing warranties on behalf of third-party manufacturers.

Any issues or defects that arise post-purchase must be addressed directly with the product manufacturer.

Laptop warranty

All laptops are brand new unless specified otherwise.

All new laptops come with a minimum of 12 month manufactures warranty this warranty starts from the purchase date by “Bluebolt PC LTD”

It is also the responsibility of the purchaser to liaise and sort directly with the manufacturer should an error occur. This will include any costs associated with shipping.

Any refurb or pre used items are sold as seen but will come with a 30-day warranty. Unless specified otherwise.

Extended warranties may come with some laptop it is the purchasers responsibility to register any warranties with the manufacturer.

 

Extended warranties

Extended warranties may come with some components and accessories it is the purchasers responsibility to register any warranties with the manufacturer.

Bluebolt PC Ltd offer a 1 year Hardware Warranty on any component that is supplied and fitted by us. This will be void, should parts have stickers removed, been tampered with or Broken. This includes components that have been removed, replaced, swapped or damaged by the purchaser.

Please note this applies to new components only and does not apply to existing components fitted as part of a repair or upgrade.

If parts have any additional warranty remaining after 12 months and an error occurs this is the responsibility of the consumer to liaise and sort directly with the manufacturer.

Warranties do not cover the failure of equipment due to the system not being serviced adequately, or failure from “fair wear and tear”.  All warranties do not cover repairs for the replacement of parts due to incompatibility. The warranty holder will be liable to pay for these repairs.

Damage to equipment or components, caused by power surges or spikes, including and not limited to, mains power and telecommunications connections, or to other unspecified sources, voltage fluctuation, amperage fluctuation, rust or corrosion, are not covered under warranty.

Neither does it cover loss or damage due to negligence, accidents, theft, flood, fire, earthquakes, electrical storms or any other act of God or any war-related events.

Any repair performed on an item under warranty whereby no fault can be found, or the fault is not covered under warranty (i.e. software, virus, end user error or any other non-warranty cause herein stated) a standard fee may be payable by the warranty holder at the usual hourly rate.

Bluebolt PC LTD reserve the right to change these conditions at any time without notice.

Taking your PC to a 3rd party (this includes yourself) for diagnostic and or repairing a fault or upgrading may VOID all warranties on the order. In addition, any costs incurred will not be covered by us.

Goods Description

Products provided by Bluebolt PC LTD are of a technical nature and it is not practical for us to publish all details and specifications of all the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full details are available from the original manufacturer’s brochures & websites

it is your responsibility to establish the suitability of the goods for your intended purpose.

Goods purchased which have no published technical specifications, we cannot be held liable for any incompatibility.

PC’s and components[IH1]  under warranty that have been upgraded, repaired, removed, replaced or worked on in any way, by any other party within the warranty period other then Bluebolt PC LTD will mean that warranty is invalid.

Your warranty with the manufactures for the individual components[IH2]  may still be valid but it will be your responsibility to liaise directly with them and supply the information needed and handle the claim yourself.

Any parts that will need removing and replacing for warranty purposes will be chargeable.

 

Typographical Errors

Unfortunately, typographical and pricing errors do sometimes occur.

We do have the right to refuse or cancel any orders if this should be the case.

 

Availability of Goods

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

Any items ordered that is out of stock, you will be contacted to discuss.

 

Software and compatibility.

we cannot guarantee compatibility with all software you wish to use, or any operating system due to the variety of customisable options available.

In the event of any failure of software or hardware, we will not be held liable to replace, re-install or compensate for any software that is lost, damaged or corrupted.

 

Sleep Mode

The use of sleep mode is not recommended as there is a chance your PC will not resume correctly. This and other hibernation features are used entirely at your own risk.

 

Faults, Repairs and Maintenance.

In the event of hard disk failure that requires a full software re-installation, we are not liable for any loss of data, although we will try our best to recover data where possible.

We recommend that all Data is backed up before any repairs / Maintenance commences with Bluebolt PC LTD.

Any PC system returned to us under warranty which is found to have no hardware fault, but is as a result of additional software installed since delivery, malware infection or virus infection, will be chargeable.

Just like any other piece of electronics equipment, a computer system tends to attract dust. this can cause the system to overheat, and may cause premature failure of hardware components. If your PC is under warranty, excessive dust build up could invalidate your warranty as it is your responsibility to keep it clean.

Tobacco smoke leaves greasy deposits on hardware components and this can cause premature component failure. Excessive build ups of tobacco grime including from e-cigarettes & vaping will be not covered by your warranty. This may result in replacement components damaged in this manner being chargeable.

We recommend that you bring your PC back to Bluebolt PC LTD every 6 months for a deep clean. 

Any item repaired or worked on by Bluebolt PC LTD will be held for a period of 3 weeks after work has finished if it is not collected within this time there will be a storage fee of £5 per day applied.

Items will be held for a Maximum of 3 months from the date of completion of work carried out, after which point the item will be sent to E waste and there will be a disposal fee of £60. This will be in addition to the storage fee.

3rd Party diagnostic and software issues.

This is for items that have not been supplied or purchased by Bluebolt PC LTD

Third-party diagnostics and software issues are done on a best endeavour basis this is because there are factors outside of our control such as viruses, Software conflicts and incompatibility of products that we have not provided  it will be charged at the standard rate.

We will not specify how long a diagnosis of software repair will take in advance.

 no refunds will be given for misdiagnosis

 

Faulty Goods

If you think that the product you have purchased is faulty or incompatible with your computer system we may refer you to the manufacturer, due to their extensive knowledge of their product. If the manufacturer agrees that the product is faulty, in most cases they will be able to authorize a replacement/repair of the product direct to you.

Water Cooling

There are risks involved with water cooling a PC. Should you wish to use water cooling in your PC, Bluebolt PC LTD will not be held responsible for any damage done to your PC or any other goods e.g carpets, cabinets etc. In the event of mis-installation or product failure. We recommend that all water-cooling products be tested no less than 24 hours outside of your PC case to check for leaks. before installation.

 

If you believe that there is an issue with your PC / Hardware even though Bluebolt PC LTD have done a diagnostic and found no issues, then we are able to raise a RMA back to the manufacturer to do an investigation.

If the manufacturer also deems that there was no issue then the cost of the shipping and return of the item will remain the responsibility of the consumer.

Bluebolt PC LTD will not be held liable for the manufacturer’s timescale getting the item back to you.

The time taken by Bluebolt PC LTD to diagnose originally will also be chargeable.

 

Please note that Bluebolt PC LTD, cannot except liability and the responsibility falls on to the consumer as per below:

  1. Loss of earnings, due to faults. (Hardware or Software faults.)

  2. Loss of earnings for delays of products or delivery failures.

  3. Any travel costs / Delivery cost in returning an item.

  4. Passwords are the responsibility of the user not Bluebolt PC LTD.

  5. Your warranty is for Hardware only and does not include free technical support. Any technical support will be charged at the standard rate.

 

Should there be any damage or faults to the goods on receipt, it will be your responsibility to inform us immediately, but not later than within 3 working days.

 

Complaints Procedure.

Any complaints are to be made in writing and emailed to pc.info@blueboltpc.com

Please state your name, invoice number and date of purchase.

We will endeavour to come back to you within 28 working days.

We will do our best to find a resolution however unfortunately this is not always possible.

To resolve complaints, we will refer back to our terms of business and once a decision has been made then it will be final and no further correspondence will be given.

Bluebolt PC Returns Policy

 

Thank you for choosing Bluebolt PC. While we are confident that you will be satisfied with your purchase, we understand that there may be times when you need to return an item. This policy outlines the process and terms for returns.

 

1. Requesting a Return:

Should you need to return an item, please initiate the process by sending an Email to pc.info@blueboltpc.com

 

2. Change of Mind:

 

If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, no problem. An order can be cancelled at any point before the goods are delivered to you. In line with the Consumer Contract (ICAC’S) Regulations you have a cooling off period where an item can be returned within 14 days following the day after you receive your item.

 

If you decide you no longer want an item, you can cancel the order before delivery or return it within 14 days after the day of receipt.

Products returned should be in an unused, 'brand new' condition, complete with all original packaging and accessories. IMPORTANT: If the product has a manufacturer's seal on the box, packaging, or static bag, and it has been breached or broken, the item will be considered used. In such cases, returns will not be considered and are not returnable!  The only exception is if the product is being returned due to a fault, in which case our warranty procedure will apply.

The cost of return is borne by the customer.

We will issue a full refund to your original payment method once the item is received and checked for damage, any use or misuses. This process takes time as we inspect all returns under a digital microscope for any damage, or misuse.

Will also check all parts and components have the associated serial numbers, MAC address and any other methods of confirming that the item is the correct part sent to the customer originally .

 

All refunds will take up to 30 days to process from the date we receive the item back.

It is the responsibility of the sender/ returner to ensure that the package is packaged adequately to protect against damage in transit.

Any damages or lost packages in transit are between yourself and the courier directly.

 

3. Compatibility

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that any parts or components purchased are compatible with their current equipment.

Before making a purchase, customers should thoroughly check product specifications, manuals, and compatibility lists. We recommend you consult the equipment manufacturers or seek expert advice to ensure the suitability of a part or component for their specific equipment.

If there are any doubts about compatibility, please do not buy until, you are sure!

We do offer technical support / compatibility sessions please contact us for a quote if needed.

 

4. Testing of Returned Items:

We encourage customers to ensure the reported faults aren't due to external components or software configurations. If uncertain, contact our Technical Support.

All returns are tested. Non-faulty items will be returned to the customer, and it will be the customers responsibly to organise their own return courier.

 

 

5. Faulty or Damaged Items:

For products faulty upon arrival, inform us within 7 working days to be eligible for a full refund or replacement.

If products develop a fault after 30 days but are within the warranty, you can get a warranty repair.

Items damaged in transit must be reported within three working days. For business customers, the window is two working days.

6. Software & Digital Downloads:

Non-faulty returns of electronic software are accepted within 14 days, provided the License Key hasn't been viewed.

For faulty software, returns are processed if deemed defective by the manufacturer or if the License Key hasn't been viewed.

7. Open-Box & B-Grade Items:

Items listed as grade A, ex-display, or B-grade may have minor defects or might be refurbished but comes with a 90-day warranty, unless specified in the description for grade A/ex-display and 30 days for grade B.

While these items have a lower benchmark of quality compared to new products, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unchanged.

 

8. Large Appliances:

If a large appliance is faulty, our expert engineers will identify and rectify the problem. You will be provided resolutions in accordance with your legal rights.

9. TV & Monitor Pixel Policy:

Our products adhere to the ISO 9241-302 standard concerning the acceptable number of dead pixels. Returns for products meeting this standard won't be accepted.

 

10. Business Orders:

This policy primarily addresses consumer orders. Business clients should consult our business-specific terms and conditions.

 

11.Please be aware that a bespoke custom build where the consultant has done a 1-1 with you and specifically specked and built a PC based on your requirements will fall out of this returns policy as per the government link below any custom-made item is exempt from refunds.

If the item is faulty then this will revert back to the warranty cover.

12. Statutory Rights:

Final Notes:

Some returns might have exclusions based on business customer status or if the products are custom-made.
